Whether business benefits portal or employee benefits program – the wave of success of value-added services from the private customer sector is spilling over.
Monetary benefits, purchasing advantages and exclusive discounts from selected providers for business operations are already highly relevant.

The use of value-added services and the professionalization of value-added marketing have already become established in the private customer segment of many savings banks.
But what about the corporate customer sector?
Together with Niels Kokkeel, in our article in S-Firmenberatungs-Magazin, I explore the question of when commercial and corporate customer products will switch to similar value-added strategies.

TOP TOPIC: Banking products, especially in retail banking, are commodity products.
To differentiate their products from those of private customers, banks and savings banks in particular have therefore been using added value around accounts and cards for years in order to differentiate themselves effectively from the competition.
Now the topic of added value, not least “fueled” by the new regulatory environment for private customers (price increases only with the explicit consent of the end customer), is finding its way into the central strategic thrusts of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe.
At the latest now, the question can be asked when commercial and corporate customer products will switch to similar strategies?

[…]

Monetary benefits, purchasing advantages and exclusive discounts from selected providers for business operations are already highly relevant.
Car rental providers, business equipment companies and B2B service providers have a strategically high level of interest and relevant offers for commercial customers of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe.
Digital platform solutions such as S-BusinessBenefits now make it easy to link these to business accounts and cards of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe in a standardized way.

Further added value relating to the extremely heterogeneous target group of tradespeople and entrepreneurs is currently being developed, particularly at S-BusinessBenefits, and will be available in various areas in the future.
With the S-BusinessBenefits configurator, account holders will in future be able to add or withdraw optional assistance and security services (e.g. ID protection, mobile device protection, extended warranties for electrical appliances, etc.) as a supplement to their business account!

[…]

The S-Firmenberatungs-Magazin regularly provides exciting content for members of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe.
This issue contains, among other things, interesting impulses for corporate customer business.

Our reading sample has aroused your curiosity and you want to know how you can also successfully use added value in the business and corporate customer sector?

Then request the digital magazine (as a PDF) free of charge from my colleague Floriana Berisha.

Order your free copy of the magazine now!

Reading sample: Excerpt from our article
